Garland Public Library provides a weekly Story Time for children on Thursdays.
STORIES WITH TORIE begins every Thursday at 4:00. Come in and enjoy fun and new stories and projects each week.
Summer Reading is a community children’s program where children ages 3 to 10 can enjoy 6 weeks of fun stories and activities @ their library. Each year we enjoy a new theme. Parents help children set a reading goal, and if they report to the librarians 3 times and reach their goal – they are invited to a PARTY!
Summer Reading 2009 (IMAGINATION DESTINATION!) was a great success. Thanks to all of your children! The party was on July 30th @ the Stake Center where the children played water games, ate donuts and punch, and received their certificates and prizes. 64 children reached their goal and rode on the the float at Wheat and Beat Day Parade.
Join us NOW for more summer fun!
