Own the Night Teen Night Activity- Dream Journals
For their next activity, the teens will be making dream journals at five o’clock at the library.
There will be handouts and information featured that night that will talk about dream interpretation and help give information about deciphering what dreams can mean about what you’re doing, where you’re going in life, and issues you may be having that aren’t immediately obvious.
There’s no cost for the activity, but we would like to know how many handouts is necessary, so it’s recommended that attendants sign up on the list at the library. All materials will be provided at the activity.
Altered Book Night
Since Altered Book Night was such a success the previous times we’ve done it, the Garland Library is hosting another Altered Book Night on June 22nd from seven in the evening till midnight. Bring a treat to share, your favorite scrapbook supplies and pictures to use to breathe new life into a well-loved book.
There will be books and some scrapbook supplies available to buy that night for $10. Supplies like scissors and glue will not be provided by the library.
Altered Book Night will be an open house, so feel free to come and go as it’s convenient for you and your family. There will also be drawings for prizes throughout the night. Everyone is welcome to attend! Come join the fun on June 22!
